The Crease Attacker Sees the Whole Field
At UC Berkeley I played Division I lacrosse as a crease attacker — basically the quarterback of the offense. My job wasn't to score every goal. It was to read the field, move the right pieces and orchestrate everything until it clicked. I loved the problem solving. I loved the moment it all came together.
That was 2012. After Cal I spent six years as a competitive halfpipe skier — World Cups, an Olympic hopeful in 2018 before an injury had other plans. If there's a pattern here, it's this: when something makes sense to go after, I go after it completely.
In 2017 I moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and never looked back.
I've spent the last 9 years watching friends and partners build businesses here and seen how much gets left on the table simply because there aren't enough hours in the day. Marketing efforts tend to be the last to get attention and the first thing to fall behind. I've worked at Challenge Aspen, Snowmass Tourism and most recently The Weather Company that built a $1.5M revenue pipeline in year one. Then came the layoff … and the clarity.
